8.卒業・修了・期間終了・退学・除籍等による離籍手続き Procedures for Withdrawal and Graduation
卒業・修了・期間終了・退学・除籍等により、愛知教育大学から離籍される方は、本学を受入機関とする在留資格「留学」のまま日本に滞在し続けることはできません。「在留資格の変更」または「日本国外への出国」等の対応が必要です。
留学生の皆さんが許可されている在留資格「留学」は、大学在籍期間中のみ有効です。
本学を卒業したら、在留カードの在留期限が残っていても、原則帰国しなければなりません。
在留資格が「留学」のまま日本に滞在することは、不法行為にあたります。
もし離籍後も留学ビザで滞在し続けると、在留資格が取り消されてしまいます。
離籍から出国までの期間は明確に定められていませんが、帰国の準備などを考慮しても1ヶ月程度が目安です。本学を離れた後も就職・進学などで日本に滞在を予定している場合は、必ず必要な手続きを行って適切な在留資格の保持に努めてください。
「活動機関に関する届出」について
卒業・修了・期間終了・退学・除籍後、すぐに帰国する場合を除き、14日以内 に、出入国在留管理庁 へ「活動機関に関する届出」を提出（オンライン・窓口・郵送）してください。提出方法や様式の詳細は、以下のページで確認してください。
期限を過ぎると在留手続に影響が出る可能性があります。忘れずに対応してください。
在留資格の変更について
卒業後の進路によって所定の手続きを行ってください。
母国へ帰国する場合
留意事項をよく確認して、すべての手続きを早めに行ってください。
日本を出国するとき、空港で在留カードを入国審査官に返してください。
日本で就職する場合
在留資格「留学」での就労は認められていません。在留資格を「技術・人文知識・国際業務」などの就労可能な在留資格に変更する必要があります。内定先に変更手続きを確認してください。
日本で進学する場合
現在の在留資格「留学」のまま進学することが可能です。在留期間更新については、受入所属教育機関で確認をしてください。
日本で就職活動を継続する場合
卒業後も就職活動を続ける場合、「特定活動（就職活動）」ビザに在留資格を変更することで、1年間（有効期限6ヶ月、原則1回更新可）日本に滞在することが可能です。申請には「継続的に就職活動を行っていることを明らかにする資料」を確認したうえで大学からの推薦状を発行します。

※大学院進学を目的とした継続は認められません。一度帰国し、新たな進学先で改めて在留資格の申請を行ってください。
あわせて、毎月１回就職活動継続の状況の確認を行います。
留意事項
1)住居の退去手続きをしてください（公共料金などの契約解除手続きを含む）。
2)市役所で、転出届の提出、健康保険の解約・精算をしてください（在留カード、マイナンバーカード、パスポート、保険証を持参）。※帰国の2週間ほど前から可能
3)銀行で、口座の解約手続きをしてください（通帳、印鑑、在留カード持参）。
4)携帯電話：利用料金の支払いと解約手続きを行ってください。
5)図書館で借りている本を返却してください。
Procedures for Withdrawal and Graduation
(Withdrawal from Enrollment Due to Graduation, Completion, End of Program Period, Voluntary Withdrawal, or Dismissal)
Students who withdraw from enrollment at Aichi University of Education due to graduation, completion of studies, expiration of the program period, voluntary withdrawal, dismissal, or other reasons may not continue to stay in Japan under the status of residence "Student", for which this University serves as the host institution. You must either change your status of residence or depart from Japan, as appropriate.
The status of residence "Student" granted to international students is valid only while enrolled at the University.
In principle, even if the period of stay stated on your Residence Card remains valid, you are required to return to your home country after graduating from the University.
Remaining in Japan under the status of residence "Student" after graduation constitutes an illegal act.
If you continue to stay in Japan under a student visa after leaving the University, your status of residence may be revoked. Although there is no clearly defined period between withdrawal from the University and departure from Japan, approximately one month is considered a guideline, taking into account preparations for returning home.
If you plan to remain in Japan after leaving the University for employment, further study, or other purposes, you must complete the necessary procedures and ensure that you hold an appropriate status of residence.
Notification about the Change of Activity Organization
Unless you return to your home country immediately after graduation, completion, expiration of the program period, withdrawal, or dismissal, you must submit a "Notification about the Change of Activity Organization" to the Immigration Services Agency of Japan within 14 days (via online submission, in person, or by mail).

Failure to submit the notification by the deadline may affect your immigration procedures. Please be sure to complete this requirement.

Change of Status of Residence
Please complete the prescribed procedures according to your post-graduation plans.
If You Return to Your Home Country
Carefully review all important points and complete all required procedures as early as possible.
When leaving Japan, please return your Residence Card to the immigration officer at the airport.
If You Find Employment in Japan
Employment under the status of residence "Student" is not permitted. You must change your status of residence to a work-permitted status such as "Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services."
Please confirm the procedures with your prospective employer.
If You Continue Your Studies in Japan
You may continue your studies under the current status of residence "Student."
Please confirm the procedures for extending the period of stay with your new host educational institution.
If You Continue Job-Hunting in Japan
If you wish to continue job-hunting after graduation, you may stay in Japan for up to one year (six months per period, renewable once in principle) by changing your status of residence to "Designated Activities (Job-Hunting)."
For the application, the University will issue a letter of recommendation after confirming documents that demonstrate you are continuously engaged in job-hunting activities.
Please complete the required information regarding job-hunting in the Post-Graduation Status Report. You will be notified after the review.

Note: Continuation of stay for the purpose of entering graduate school is not permitted. You must first return to your home country and then apply for a new status of residence through your new institution.
In addition, the University will confirm the status of your job-hunting activities once a month.
Important Notes
- Complete procedures to vacate your residence, including cancellation of contracts for utilities.
- At the city/municipal office, submit a moving-out notification and cancel/settle your National Health Insurance (bring your Residence Card, My Number Card, passport, and insurance card).
This is possible from approximately two weeks before departure. - Close your bank account (bring your bankbook, seal, and Residence Card).
- Mobile phone: settle outstanding charges and complete cancellation procedures.
- Return any books borrowed from the library.
